Random Political Inanities (Day 2)

It's Friday and while cold, the sun is actually out in Seattle so I have little desire to do other than the most cursory tiptoe through the Google News tulips today. There is absolutely nothing new out there except in Connecticut. Maybe something non-political later if I am so inspired.

We watch the debates for the gotcha moments, and we haven’t really had any huge ones so far. Makes you long for the lighter moments in the primaries. Here, a bipartisan sampling:

West Virginia just went blue? Whoa. I hardly think it will last, but if it does? Whoa.

So yeah, there wasn’t anything to worry about regarding our privacy. Just trust the President. They’re only listening in on terrorists. See, there’s no legal definition of terrorist and this invasion was wrong wrong wrong from the start.

U.S. probes claims officials eavesdropped on calls

The National Security Agency said on Thursday it was investigating allegations that intelligence officials listened to personal phone calls from military officers, journalists and other Americans living outside the United States.

Connecticut, already blue, turns Rainbow Brite (fingers crossed)!
